Ensured the equipment was built to specified electrical specifications.Directly responsible for the electrical direction of all “Pre-Start Health & Safety Reviews” for existing and new equipment.Directly responsible for the electrical direction of the design and procurement of new technologies equipment, processes and associated requirements for the advancement of manufacturing capabilities and methods.Conceptualize and directed the development of new technologies, processes, manufacturing methods, etc.Direct and review the specifications, designs, procurement, installations and commissioning of equipment, including appropriation requests.Assume full accountability for progress of assignments under my direction.Reviewed drawings, specifications, calculations, procure certification of drawings, etc. as required.Provide input for possible projects and costing for plant 5-year capital plan. Assisted maintenance electricians in the installation and troubleshooting of equipment.Maintain electrical schematic drawings, panel layouts, high voltage substation layouts and plant electrical single line diagram.Maintained and updated Engineering data: specifications, electrical drawings, asset files, set-up and maintenance manuals and recommended spare parts list, etc.Acquisition and installation of new controls and hardware for modification of existing machinery and equipment. Develop PLC programs as required using A-B RS Logics software.
