I like innovation. I can't sing or play an instrument, and other than in my own mind, I was never a great athlete. But I do two things fairly well: Figuring things out and leading people.I've been trying to solve problems for more than 25 years, primarily by leading project, program and functional teams. I've been fairly successful at that but I don't mind failing now and then - it motivates me to try harder to succeed. My experience has given me a chance to work with teams in China, Canada, and the US in several different industries for both large and small companies. I most enjoy turning complex goals into business strategy and then turning that strategy into executable plans. I have led the delivery of more than 100 projects of varying size, across several industries from concept through to manufacturing/fabrication/construction and have also performed senior corporate roles in engineering, manufacturing operations and construction. After years of working as part of larger teams, I took the opportunity to start building something new. I'm working harder, learning more, doing more, and getting paid far less than I ever have before. It's great and we're now growing a team of masochists to join this party. Things I like a lot: Leadership, Innovation, Strategy, Business Development, Operations Management, Program Management, Project Execution, and Engineering.
