Manage a team of Release Readiness Managers. As a Release Readiness Manager (RRM) we work directly with the Product Launch teams (Development, Program Management and Product Management through the entire product life cycle to ensure that all of Support milestones and deliverables are prioritized, tracked and achieved prior to product release.RRMs contribute to Symantec’s customer satisfaction by ensuring that Support is ready to support the product day one of release. This includes product training for all front line (TSE) backline (PSE) TAMs and Premium engineers two weeks prior to GA, along with setting up all phone queues, tools, hardware and software prior to release. We not only focus on homegrown products, but also include OEM deals and new acquisitions. We work directly with Business development and the M&A teams to ensure these products are onboarded and are supported at GA. Sr. Principle Program Manager: Managed a team of program managers in the U.S., Estonia and India. Additionally, I program managed multiple development projects from design and implementation through release, including post-release analysis. Primary responsibilities include:- Aligning product team’s and stakeholder’s expectations of scope and key dates.- Scheduling, creating and coordinating content for all PLC checkpoints and reviews.- Create and maintain accurate data on Confluence pages needed for launch team.- Coordinate the completion of all release deliverable pertaining to licensing and legal related activities. - Developed and tracked GA focused portion of the master schedule- Managed risks and issues impacting GA date. - Ran regular Core Team meetings.Certified Scrum Master - Responsible for facilitating the Scrum process, resolving team impediments, shielding the teams from interference, and advocating improved engineering practices.

Program Manage multiple development projects from design and implementation through release, including post-release analysis of what can be improved in the process. Host/drive regular core team meetings with all relevant functional groups within Altiris (i.e. development, test, documentation, localization, support, PM, Life Cycle Management Lab, etc.) Highlight and escalate key risks and issues with any groups that might affect the overall product schedule. Owner of the master project plan and am responsible for updating the Global Development Status report that is consumed by company executives weekly. Track key milestones and deliverables and ensure all key checkpoints are passed in the Altiris Product Life Cycle (APCL).

Worked in a team environment to enhance communication and unify departments in the order to cash stream process. Acted as the single point of contact for assigned field and internal sales reps as well as being front line contact and problem resolution to customers on the east coast. Specifically, relating to orders, contracts, customer compliance, credit/RMAs, product upgrades, electronic license distribution (ELD) and quote preparation. Trained field and internal sales reps on new program, policy and contract process. Established Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to track and measure issue turnaround times and improve performance.

Acted as the general contractor in the software production process. Owned the schedule and production of all assigned Citrix products. Created master plan and ensured all deliverables and milestones from functional groups were met. Demonstrated expertise in organizing and driving core teams from product conception to launch. Liaison between functional groups and was the conduit for problem resolution and risk assessment. Provided detailed forecasts for component and finished goods to manufacturing. Established correct price, licensing, and product mix prior to product release. Worked with legal in writing and submitting all import/export documents to U.S. Government before ship date. Created the product shipping criteria to ensure all product requirements were complete prior to launch. Created detailed reports in Excel and reported product status on a monthly basis to company executives.
