What gets me energized in the world of paperboard packaging ? The word NEW comes to mind. I can't wait to follow-up on a new lead, with a new purchasing person, a new opportunity, a new project or a new problem. Yes, a new problem. Without problems we don't need salespeople. Most customers deal with the problem of trying to get their packaging cheaper, faster, from a vendor managed inventory that performs better in the manufacturing and retail environments. The method that works best for me is through hard work, long hours, a good reputation, a network of friends in related packaging fields, and my 30 years of manufacturing, quality, management and sales experience in the packaging industry.I enjoy meeting with customers and extracting their package filling needs, transportation methods, and presentation as well as end-user requirements. I get personally involved with the structural design by meeting with the design team at the start of every new project. I personally review all of my new packaging samples prior to the customer receiving them.My sales expertise over the last 17 years has been in the pharmaceutical, nutraceutical, clinical trial, child-resistance, medical products, and retail packaging fields. With my previous positions in manufacturing, quality control and general management, I should be able to answer most manufacturing and technical questions about folding cartons.If I can't help you, there is a good chance that I know a competent, seasoned professional that can.
