Packaging machine collects polyfiber from bulk source by weight (circulating conveyor belt), rams product through a series of chutes into an automated dual bag clamping system (works in parallel for increased throughput – reconfigurable for 20 bag sizes). Stuffed bag is squeezed, vacuum-sealed and exits the machine at a rate of 6 sec/bag through a customized press conveyor system. Developed “Intelligent Robotic Error Recovery Strategies” based on ‘structured-path’ database of workstation positions (see Robot Structured Recovery Paper.doc, Licensed to Siemens Healthcare). Other Proposals submitted: Robotic Emblem Grinding Machine, Food Product Loading Machine, Wire Twisting and Cutting Machine, Glue Bead Vision Inspection System.
