About Glenn Asschert

As a registered nurse specialist with 18 years of work experience, I have provided palliative care services for patients nearing the end of their lives with physical, emotional and spiritual support. Sharing these precious moments with people profoundly inspired me to offer my best in-home hospice and palliative care.My professional journey made it clear that people needed even more specialised services. For many, this meant not only compassionate care from a medical standpoint, but also being in the place they felt most at ease - home.I have a solid background in introducing and familiarising patients and family members with the concept of palliative care, coordinating planning care and providing outstanding nursing care. I am always determined to work effectively with a multi-disciplinary team and maintain effective communication and teamwork. I'm passionate about palliative care. I created even more affinity after caring for my father at home during his final days. These experiences of at-home care and seeing my father surrounded by loving family and friends inspired me to provide respite and palliative care for all with compassion and high-quality services. My purpose is to provide a specialist care service to help patients and families across multiple dimensions of their lives.
