Glenn has had an active legal practice in the environmental, land use and real estate development fields since the advent of many of the current environmental and land use regulatory programs. He has successfully assisted private sector companies, public agencies and individuals on every facet of environmental and land use law since the mid 1980’s in Massachusetts and New England. Over the years, he has developed a reputation for being a strong client advocate and for his passionate, innovative and creative approaches in resolving complex environmental issues and in litigation and enforcement cases.Glenn works on a broad-ranging work including air, solid waste and water pollution, NPDES and stormwater, wetlands and waterways/Chapter 91, hazardous waste contamination and insurance coverage, Brownfields redevelopment, zoning, subdivision and Chapter 40B, coastal erosion, conservation restrictions and tax abatements, renewable energy and due diligence assessments in real estate transactions. He also has significant expertise in regulatory permitting processes throughout Cape Cod and the Islands of Nantucket and Martha's Vineyard.He recently served as Co-Chair of the Environmental Litigation Committee within the Boston Bar Association's Environmental Section, and now is on the Environmental Section's Steering Committee. He was a past President of the Association of Massachusetts Wetlands Scientists and is the long-time Government Affairs chair of AMWS.A resident of Ipswich, Massachusetts, Glenn was on the Ipswich Conservation Commission for 13 years and now is a Town of Ipswich representative to 8 Towns and the Bay.
