At Sodia, Glenn worked as an Organisational Development consultant, researching culture topics with Australian business owners, implementing culture initiatives and helping to deliver workshops.

Glenn consulted to clients on marketing, digital marketing, market research, software architecture, software development, product development, entrepreneurship, creativity, leadership, culture and strategy. A wide mix, but reflective of his wide ranging interests and experience.Clients included ANCA, ANCA Motion, Successful Endeavours, Bytecraft, Swinburne University, Medic Vision, Figment Design, Orphan Pharmaceuticals, Ronstan, CFMC, Sodia, Fisher Systems and Winepress.

ANCA is a global, tier 1 developer and supplier of tool and cutter grinders and control systems. In this role, Glenn was responsible for global marketing strategy, market research, marketing communications and marketing operations for both digital and traditional channels. He had a team of 6 staff; product managers and marketing associates.

Glenn began at ANCA as a Software Engineer, moved into technical Project Management and finished his tenure as Director of Research. When he ran CNC research at ANCA, Glenn was very successful, partly because he and his team looked at ways to pull ideas from other industries into the CNC field. His PhD research was about taking the concepts of Robotics, adapting them and applying them into CNC (which had never been done before). It was a disruptive strategy for the CNC tool grinder market. ANCA grew from $8m to $80m revenue during his 10-year tenure and completely changed the face of the tool grinding market. ANCA is now the global leader in CNC tool grinders and is an Australian Export Hall of Fame member employing over 1,200 people worldwide.
