I work as an SAP Basis and Security administrator. In conjunction with the Functional Support team I am continuing to improve security roles by implementing Master and Derived roles, reducing overlapping roles, and standardizing role names. I added SAP to our standard provisioning tool to simplify the customer experience in gaining access to applications. I also manage user accounts.I support project and development teams by scheduling batch jobs, handling transport requests, managing incidents related to SAP, and assisting in trouble shooting.In addition to my SAP work I also support the business community by providing access to legacy data from the Southern Union Oracle EBS system. I assist customers with running reports and run data extracts for audits and other special requirements. I supported reporting from the Oracle EBS system from the time Southern Union was acquired by Energy Transfer until the transition to SAP was completed.

I functioned as a combination team lead and individual performer supporting Oracle E-Business Suite reporting and as the technical support for Hyperion Planning and Budgeting.While performing the team lead function I reviewed workloads and new requests for service, assigned tasks, developed cost-benefit analysis, worked with different user departments to prioritize work, coordinated work with other areas within the IT department and kept management informed of work status. As part of my technical responsibilities I worked with customers to develop functional requirements, designed and implemented data structures to support the reporting environment, developed standard reports, and trained users how to use the ad-hoc reporting tool.I installed and configured Hyperion Planning and Budgeting, Essbase, Oracle Deata Integrator, Oracle ERP Integrator, and Hyperion Smartview under the supervision of project consultants. I designed and wrote the ETL scripts to move Metadata from Oracle EBS to Hyperion dimensions. After implementation I was the only technical resource for Hyperion and worked on tuning Essbase, improving Calc Scripts, resolving issues with data loads, and researching data anomalies identified by the functional support team. I developed and documented the procedures required to change which database server the Hyperion relational DB repository was on. I also developed procedures to update Hyperion when the source EBS database was moved instead of having to do a reinstall. During the upgrade to Oracle EBS R-12 I coordinated the Hyperion changes with the Infosys team and trained them on ERP Integrator.
