The role holder will manage resources across these key areas:-• the ongoing upkeep and accreditation of our Asset Planning activities through the maintenance of DCWW’s Strategic Asset Management Plan (SAMP), providing a documented and constant approach in defining asset management systems and processes to meet Asset Planning objectives.• the development and implementation of Portfolio risk management strategies supported by high quality risk management policies, systems and practices to enable the development of medium-term risk planning processes and also optimise the delivery of DCWW’s business plan, balancing risk and affordability to achieve the required outcomes.• the business change initiatives required to improve Asset Planning maturity, feeding into the centralised Business Change road map and also lead on special projects that impact our investment choices to enable the Asset Planning Directorate to deliver the PR24 Business Plan and our future business plan commitments from April 2025 and beyond. • The governance of an accurate and effective MIS and data management systems across the asset lifecycle relating to DCWW’s investment Portfolio, ensuring asset lifecycle data integrity, data quality, consistency and accuracy for the whole investment portfolio.
