I am a young and eager professional with nearly ten years of experience working as a paramedic throughout Canada. I am also currently working on my Bachelor of Arts in English Literature, as my true passion lies in writing, editing and communication. My career as a paramedic has offered me a unique insight and perspective into the (often grim) experiences of the human condition. I have had the privilege to bear witness to the tragedies, triumphs and mundane realities of all walks of life, from the old and affluent, to the young and homeless, and everything in between. I have a keen interest in, and undying curiosity for uncovering the stories of the people around me. I believe that there is a story under every rock, and a lesson in every nook, you just have to be willing to look hard enough to find it.In addition to a social nature and a friendly and approachable demeanour, I pride myself on my ability to express myself through writing. This is why I am pursuing a degree in literature, as mentioned above. I am at a stage in my life now where I want to be able to use my writing skills to express my creativity and help others. This ambition has pushed me to step out of my comfort zone and become a freelance writer. So, if you are looking for an ambitious and passionate writer with background knowledge of medical science and an intimate understanding of social issues, don't hesitate to reach out!
