Lead and oversee the programming, services, research, and advocacy initiatives of the Center that help to propel women to pursue higher education, the workforce, and leadership roles. Direct a staff of 18; manage a budget of approximately $2.5 million; and oversee all fundraising initiatives that yield more than $200,000 annually in gifts and grants.

Developed a series of leadership programs and curricula, in conjunction with the director, to identify, advance and support senior women administrators in higher education. Identified panelists and presenters for four women’s leadership development forums held annually and Summit for Women of Color Administrators held biennially.

Coordinated efforts to attract students of color to the College from across the U.S. and throughout the Caribbean. Traveled to urban high schools nationwide; conducted personal interviews with prospective students on campus, conducted workshops and programs for prospective students, their parents, and high school guidance counselors; developed admission brochures targeted for students of color; reviewed admission applications and helped to select candidates for admission to the College and for merit-based scholarships.
