Greetings, I’m from Columbia, South Carolina and I’m the proud mother of two outstanding sons. My latest accomplishment includes attending University of South Carolina completing an Continuing Education Program receiving my Grant Writing Certification, University of California Los Angeles (UCLA) whereas I completed the Head Start Management Fellows Program, I received a Master’s Degree in Health Administration and a 2nd Master’s in Management Leadership both from Webster University and a Bachelor’s Degree in Child and Family Development from Benedict College. My professional life includes being employed by Vital Connections of the Midlands Early Head Start where I’m currently the Interim Early Head Start Director and I currently serve as the Chair of South Carolina State Head Start Family & Community Partnership for Head Start/ Early Head Start for the state of South Carolina. I love traveling, listening to music, reading, and most importantly being a mother. I believe that “Each child belongs to all of us, and they will bring us a tomorrow in direct relation to the responsibility we have shown them”.- Maya Angelou
