Collaborating across payroll, accounts payable, IT, Legal, and other functions, worked to build a sustainable, compliant onboarding process for City of Hope’s 10,519 employees and non-employees, including students, global scholars, contractors, and volunteers. I manage vendor relationships and operations for onboarding functions, and I leverage my expertise in onboarding and HRIS to introduce solutions that reduce risk.As the organization grows, I’m leading and partnering on projects critical to its scale, compliance, and customer excellence, from a ten-month Taleo upgrade to enterprise-wide electronic I-9 and E-Verify implementation to the resolution of immigration system gaps.Additional highlights of my work include:► Collaborating to in-source 113 non-employees to full-time employees within one month.► Reducing onboarding from six weeks to three weeks by driving vendor performance improvements.► Project-managing recruitment efficiencies for part of an operational excellence mandate.► Resolving 29 Non-Employee Services program infractions after internal auditors raised concerns.

As the strategic and operational leader of Immigration, Relocation, Outplacement Services, Analytics & Reporting, and Form I-9 programs, I optimized the operational impact of $2.8M in programs while meeting evolving business needs. Within three months of starting this position, I overhauled SCE’s relocation and immigration programs to improve performance, compliance, and costs while attracting talent and driving customer satisfaction.An enterprise-wide subject matter expert in relocation and immigration, I advised and consulted with senior executives, the Managing Committee, and the Vice President of HR on relocation, immigration updates and regulatory changes, outplacement services, and background investigations. I also led the vendor RFPs for Background Investigations, E-Verify, and I-9 operations.Highlights of my work include:► Partnering with Legal and leading a cross-functional team to conduct a Department of Justice-mandated 38-year I-9 audit in five days, including developing justifications for 430 employees.► Achieving 78% cost savings on a vendor contract by negotiating a cost-savings opportunity with a change of vendors.► Introducing and leading vendor performance reviews to identify and implement cost and performance improvements.

As the program manager of SCE’s contract with Lee Hecht Harrison, I drove the performance and quality delivery of outplacement and services. From introducing monitoring, tracking, and integration strategies to a career fair for former SCE employees, I analyzed and reported complex data to optimize and recommend services.During this time, I partnered with the Meter Services Organization on a complex redeployment and reduction-in-force of 150 employees that resulted in 200 relocations or classification changes and 93 layoffs. My contributions included:► Collaborating with the MSO and Labor relations to meet IBEW Collective Bargaining Agreements.► Developing the project plan and executing a job information fair ahead of the RIF that attracted 39 business partners and 80 attendees.

I joined SCE to report and analyst data to evaluate performance trends for the Customer Communications Organization. I identified resource needs to meet increasing volume and trained new hires in company and department policy.

I led program and financial reporting, budgets, and HR functions for the 12-member staff of the Girl Scouts – Mt. Wilson Vista Council, including recruiting, hiring, onboarding, training, and performance. I also delivered numerous presentations, including program overviews, project proposals, and funding requests to public, legislative, and corporate audiences.
