InterestsApart from my family, in my free time I have an interest in model engineering and have since the age of 10 been involved with model live steam locomotives - learning to drive them as a junior club member.Following a successful career in production engineering where I trained a Machinist / Fitter I have been using these skills to manufacture my own locomotives.I am Chairman of Polegate and District Model Engineering Club and while Chairman we have developed the club, improving the club facilities, increasing the club membership and financing and building a track extension at our Polegate 0aks site. I am a club boiler tester for pressure testing and approving or rejecting locomotive boilers and have build the semaphore signals being used to control the trains running at Polegate Oaks greatly improving passenger safety,
