Mapcargo provides services across Import, Export, Domestic, Air, Sea, Roadfreight and Courier. My role entailed holding overall responsibility for all the company’s operations. This included the financial aspects of P&L, cost control and budgeting for all offices and departments, recruitment of staff, and training and mentoring of staff from management through to apprentices. In my years with the company I helped grow the business from three people turning over £200K a year to a business that employing 80 people across multiple sites and a £23 million a year turnover.In addition to active Account Management of the 10 largest client accounts, I maintained and developed supplier and offshore agency relationships and enhanced the company’s offering through product development and quality control systems and quality management.
