Growing up in a military family instilled a growth mindset in me, where challenges are opportunities and failures are lessons. Nothing has challenged or given me as much satisfaction as analyzing data. I discovered my passion for analytics after taking a demanding data visualization with R elective course. The complexity and the satisfaction of creating my first bar chart drew me in, leading me to add a second major in Business Analytics. I have since immersed myself in all things data science. I created statistical analysis reports using R on everything from sleep efficiency to heart cancer datasets and utilized Python to build machine learning models, only to realize that I have only scratched the surface of its potential in data science. The continuous learning and creative problem-solving in data science excites and motivates me to keep pushing my boundaries as I pursue my Master's in Analytics at the Institute of Advanced Analytics. Beyond my passion for data, I find balance and inspiration in life's simpler joys, such as taking games of pickleball or volleyball far too seriously, routinely destroying my body and eardrums in the pursuit of fitness, or fearlessly attempting any recipe that piques my interest.
