• Facilitates quality improvement as applicable to drive continuous improvement.• Works one-on-one with specific disciplines and/or suppliers as needed to engage the stakeholder and achieve needed quality and/or vendor(s) to correct negative trends.• Interfaces with sales, customers and/or users to provide quality and reliability trend information and specific reports, as required.• Work under the direction of the Industrial Engineering Manager to:• Prepare and route engineering change requests, change orders, and planned deviation reports.• Implement engineering change order and release of specifications.• Assist with development and implementation of new work cells.• Fill out purchase requisitions to support work cells or prototype builds.• Create part numbers and BOM’s, and enter data into ERP system.• Create/update assembly and test procedures and their associated traveler checklists.• Developing process routings and incorporating them into the ERP system.• Troubleshoot instruments as well as addressing EOL components.• Perform and assist with CAPA’s, root cause analysis, PFMEA’s, and Process Validations.• Assist with design transfer activities.• Assist with prototype assembly and test.• Assist with various risk analysis/assessment activities.
