As a Chief Petty Officer in the US Navy I trained, managed, and mentored the Navy's junior enlisted Sailors and commissioned officers. I had the responsibility of training them and ensuring they met and exceeded standards. I served in numerous assignments at sea, ashore, and in combat. While assigned to a Provincial Reconstruction Team in Afghanistan I served as the Intelligence Officer where I ran the Tactical Operations Center.
