Certified as a Master Teacher for the PAIRS course and PAIRS national course curricula, including Participant Manual and Leader Guide. Responsible for producing and editing 40 hours of videotape-training materials for new PAIRS leaders under the auspices of the PAIRS Foundation. PAIRS has been featured in all of the major newsmagazines and television networks and our local work has been featured prominently in the Longmont Times-Call, the Boulder Daily Camera, Women’s Journal and Parent Magazine.Together with my partner, Robin Temple, developed marketing materials and techniques that allowed us to become recognized as one of the most effective teams teaching PAIRS in the United States. We taught the PAIRS semester course, a comprehensive 160-hour, seven-month relational skills mastery course from 1994 to 2001. Co-led therapy groups with my partner, Robin. We continue to design and teach shorter courses, most recently the PAIRS Passion Weekend and PAIRS Family Mission Statement course. This involves extensive research and leading a wide range of experiential exercises; for example, guided visualizations and dialogues, psychodrama, role-plays, art exercises and play.Designed the manual for the Fearless Living introductory weekend while leading courses as a senior instructor for the Fearless Living Institute.

I have been a board member for two non-profit organizations. Retired from Turning the Wheel Productions, which pioneers the use of the arts as a vehicle for building communities by promoting positive social change in at-risk populations. As a founding Board member, I helped oversee a shift to corporate funding and professional management. Currently active with Three Swallows Foundation, which funds a wide variety of educational, research, ministerial and social services projects. Also a founding Board Member and President Emeritus for entreamigos, a private social services organization in San Francisco (aka San Pancho), Nayarit, Mexico. Entreamigos is known as one of the best organizations of its kind in Mexico, providing educational services for local children, including scholarship funds and oversight; language classes for children and adults; arts and environmental education; a regional recycling facility, as well as community based parks construction using recycled materials; a library and computer training center; a recreation court and dance floor; an outdoor performance stage; health and safety education; disaster relief; and community organizing facilitation. I was instrumental in finding funding for a move from a 500 SF facility to a 50,000 SF facility (with a corresponding increase in staffing and scope of services), including corollary Board and executive development work.

I worked independently as an Advanced Enneagram Instructor with over 250 hours of training with Riso and Hudson, among others. This is a depth system for understanding, and productively working with, an individual’s basic fears and desires. It provides an outstanding platform for understanding interpersonal dynamics and accelerating spiritual growth.I also offer a one-year program, The Enneagram of Leadership, through WorkSmart International. This is designed for executive teams and other high-performance groups. A challenging, values-based leadership program that starts with self-development and ends with targeted business results.

New Games coach under Allen Feld in Boulder. Stewart Brand invented New Games in 1966 as a vehicle for divergent social groups to foster understanding, spontaneity and participation through play.

Marketing, sales and facilitation for the Entrepreneurial Development Course, a six-month intensive led by various top consultants, under the supervision of Kathi Armstrong and David Zellner (former Landmark Communication Course leaders). Presenters included Nathan Rosenberg and John R. Barnes.

Recognized as providing a premium service for laying out highly complex structures under demanding and fast-track conditions. Acted as the lead professional on development review projects, from initial mapping and submittals through final engineering design and permitting. In this capacity I reviewed the work of hydraulic, civil, mechanical and structural engineers, architects, landscape architects, planners, developers and specialty contractors. Developed efficient documentation systems for accounting, scheduling and change order control.
