After the sale of Coinstar to Apollo Global Management, this role increased to not only facilitate the annual planning process, but also included a higher level of leadership and strategic thinking. Three main objectives of this role were: creating Coinstar, LLC as a standalone business, planning and execution for rapid international expansion and planning and execution of new business opportunities on the Coinstar kiosk. It also included the recapitalization of Coinstar utilizing a Whole Business Securitization. This resulted in unprecedented, award winning debt deal.

Continued managing two teams of analysts: traditional FP&A and Strategy Analytics. Participated in development of diligence documents during the strategic alternatives process of Outerwall. This ultimately resulted in the sale of Outerwall to Apollo Global Management

Business Leadership:Provide financial guidance for the Coin line of business Executive Council, consisting of various leader levels from Director to President as they deliver the $300M business. Use a holistic approach to provide succinct, clear insight to the overall health of the business. Use deep industry knowledge to act as a thought leader for future growth of the business. Construct financial models for new revenue opportunities and capital investment to quantify expected/required returns. Perform subject matter expert duties on the continuing efforts to broaden Coinstar's infrastructure within an SAP environment. Financial Planning & Analysis:Build and deliver monthly business review for CEO, CFO, and other enterprise level leaders. Manage the financial models for the 5 year strategic planning process. Manage the LOB annual planning process from inception through BOD approval Manage monthly financial forecasts in a timely accurate way and variance reporting thereof.

Manage the annual planning process for the entire Coin line of business, inclusive of US, Canada, Puerto Rico, United Kingdom and Ireland. Build, model, deliver and explain monthly revenue and expense forecast for the entire Coin LOB. Act as a financial leader and support function to Coin LOB Executive Council. Build business models used to evaluate and determine next steps on new business possibilities. Manage the monthly reporting and explanation of monthly financial results. Work closely with organization Vice Presidents to ensure their financial goals and needs are met. Model potential contractual liabilities to determine holistic impact to the Coin LOB.

Applied knowledge base of Operations organization across the entirety of the Coin line of business as well as the Entertainment line of business. Detail forecasting of entire Operations P&L. Consolidation of LOB financials into one monthly forecast and annual budget. Workload capacity analysis driven through the development of a time and motion model. Drove operational efficiency through refinement of KPIs improvement of reporting.

Worked specifically within the Operations organization to gain operating efficiency, increase operating margin and clear concise reporting. Work included KPI development and reporting, process improvement recommendation, basal financial analysis and detail driven operational analysis.
