Hyder Consulting is an international advisory and design consultancy with particular specialisation in infrastructure, property and environmental solutions. I was involved in the development and design of the urban realm for Westminster Council, LondonUtilised my CAD skills (AutoCAD 08, AutoTrack, Keysign), to produce accurate, detailed drawings for the construction of civil based schemes within London. Schemes included Security, Bus, Traffic, Urban Space, and Parking.Site surveying and photography for resource and client visualisation purposes.Used initiative to solve problems, and develop innovative solutions. Worked largely unsupervised to meet targets and construction deadlines. Demonstrated excellent communication skills through liaison with people from all aspects of the civil scheme development process.

OTIS LimitedOtis Elevators is the world leading manufacturer, installer and maintainer of elevators, escalators and moving walkways.Used CAD (AutoCAD, Lift Designer), to develop detailed structural installation drawings for the construction of Otis equipment within a specific site, and drawings to be used by the Otis sales team, construction team, architects and builders. The use of lateral thinking to develop bespoke solutions for some clients and following the manufacture and installation of specific units to site. Demonstrated good time management skills to ensure drawings were available when required. Developed and managed an efficient data management system for all drawing files and project documentation from point of sale to construction.

Transport for London Transport for London is the local government body responsible for most transport systems in Greater London.Helped to carry out a complete review of all "yellow box" junctions on the Transport for London road network, including surveying over 400 junctions and producing scale CAD drawings of the road markings, assessing their enforceability status, and submitting any that had an unenforceable design to the 'Department for Transport' for Special Signs authorisation.Used my expertise in AutoCAD to transfer information collected through site visits and surveys into accurate AutoCAD drawings and maps.Redesigned yellow box junction markings in line with the TSRGD legislation and criteria and achieved an 80% increase in the number of TSRGD compliant Yellow Box Junction road markings on the TLRN.Maintained an up-to-date GIS database of YBJs on ParkMap and MapInfo systems, including a complete photographic library.In depth knowledge of TSRGD regulations, and Health and Safety in the workplaceReported project updates and achievements to superiors.
