I was a member of the Helpline team that took queries from Students, Parents, and Applicants about the courses we offered, availability of places on courses, provided more information on courses, and coordinated meetings with Tutors/Guidance Officers and members of the public.

I served as the Student Representative Governor on the Oaklands College Corporation Board of Directors while we were working on many changes in the College. I contributed to planing and implementation for the new campus (and all areas concerned), running of the current college, and generally learning and providing my perspective where I could. This was a fascinating opportunity for me.
