Post Production Supervisor
CurrentIn 2022, I came onboard at Goodbye Pictures. At that time, the company in the middle of editing and delivering series to both Netflix and Bravo simultaneously. We were also transitioning from in-house finishing of network episodic assets to fully outsourcing to 3rd party finishing vendors. This situation necessitated that I quickly establish relationships with both network and vendor principles in order to get up to speed and keep our ongoing asset delivers on schedule. I was tasked with coordinating and overseeing editing, sound design, color correction, graphics and closed caption teams. Working closely with the Executive Producer, Senior Producers and other members of the production team, I ensured that the final product met the technical requirements and creative vision of the network executives at Netflix and Bravo.I also manage post-production schedules and payrolls, hired and manage post-production personnel, and coordinates with other departments to ensure that all necessary elements are delivered on time. I am responsible for managing the schedules of multi-format deliverables for the project. I am also in charge of overseeing the final assets delivery of the project to the network.● Management and coordination of In-house edit teams and external 3rd party finishing vendors● Administration and management of networked Avid, Davinci Resolve and Nexis environment ● Collaboration with Netflix and Bravo weekly to ensure episodic delivery schedule Integrity● Work in conjunction with the Line Producer to negotiate favorable pricing from finishing vendors● Coordinating, scheduling and running Color and Audio Finishing approval sessions with post vendors● Negotiated finishing services and pricing on per-episode basis packages with various vendors● Maintain multiple edit bays and troubleshoot problems to keep In-house and remote editors on schedule● Coordinated Internal and vendor personnel in the delivery of Network specified multi-format assets
