In 2022, I came onboard at Goodbye Pictures. At that time, the company in the middle of editing and delivering series to both Netflix and Bravo simultaneously. We were also transitioning from in-house finishing of network episodic assets to fully outsourcing to 3rd party finishing vendors. This situation necessitated that I quickly establish relationships with both network and vendor principles in order to get up to speed and keep our ongoing asset delivers on schedule. I was tasked with coordinating and overseeing editing, sound design, color correction, graphics and closed caption teams. Working closely with the Executive Producer, Senior Producers and other members of the production team, I ensured that the final product met the technical requirements and creative vision of the network executives at Netflix and Bravo.I also manage post-production schedules and payrolls, hired and manage post-production personnel, and coordinates with other departments to ensure that all necessary elements are delivered on time. Post Operations Manager

Los Angeles

In 2019, STRIVR’s Post workload surged and I was promoted to Post Operations Manager. I designed and setup post workflows and processes that gave us the ability to bring in various external 3rd party content creation partners, both domestic and international. I managed a twofold increase of staff Editors, VFX artists and contractors in order to meet the increased production and content creation schedule. To further increase the Post department’s ability to deal with increased workloads, I researched purchased and setup an internal Render Farm that cut the render times by 50+ percent. I also designed and implemented WFH (work from home) processes and protocols to provide the option for staff to be able to continue work if needed after hours. In the wake of the 2020 Covid-19 pandemic, STRIVR was forced to move its entire workforce to WFH. Due to my previous work in setting up WFH for Post, we were able to meet that challenge within 24 hours of getting the announcement. I further refined our WFH processes by setting up a system of VPN access, SOC2 data protection protocols for client assets, a system of couriers to move hardware and production assets to and from Post personnel’s homes and a system for WFH projects and exports to be synced with both the central Post Server and the Cloud Archive backup to ensure multiple redundancies in the event of a data loss event. ● Responsible for the End to End management of Post Production department assets and budgets● Establishing and maintaining clear channels on communication between production stakeholders● Designing, planning and implementing various Post-Production workflows to maximize efficiency ● Research and analysis of trending Post-Production related techniques and tools that improve workflows● Designing and administration of large Post-Production servers in coordination with the I.T. department● Administering and maintaining Post-Production department equipment and software budgets

Post Production Supervisor

Los Angeles

As the very first Post Supervisor at STRIVR, I was tasked with building a Post department from the ground up. That work entailed, but not limited to, the setting up and provisioning of a centralized Post server. Researching, purchasing and setting up multiple workstations. Networking of the post server to various departments involved in content related production. Creating, implementing and optimizing post workflows that enabled a small team to work efficiently. Integrated Frame IO into the content production workflow and administered the internal and external user base. Evaluated, purchased and configured various Post related software. Created an internal project tracker to help facilitate coordination between Production and Post Production departments. Recruited, interviewed, hired and managed both staff and contractor personnel. The Post workflows and processes I have initiated at STRIVR come from the best practices that I have experienced over my career in Post Production. And they were all consolidated and configured under one of my Guide Stone principles. Streamline The Process.● Management of a Post-Production team of Editors and Visual Effects Artists● Establishing and maintaining a database and relationships with Freelancers and third party vendors● Consulting with and advising all internal stakeholders to keep multiple projects on-time and on budget● Scheduling of Staff, Freelancers and Third Party Vendors for multiple Post projects● Post department resource budgeting, cost estimating and cost tracking● Researching and purchasing of post production related hardware and software● Developing and optimizing streamlined post workflows to increase workload efficiency
