I'm a fourth year senior at Iowa, and I am beginning to explore internship opportunities. As an Informatics & Enterprise Leadership major it is important to me that I find work where I can utilize my leadership skills to build and strengthen bonds within groups of people and between groups of people.Leadership as a field excites me because you do not need a title to be a leader. With the right set of skills and application, you can be a leader in nearly any circumstance. By utilizing my own set of skills, I plan to lead wherever I end up. I want to streamline the efficiency of groups that I am part of, and help my peers be the best that they can be.I have had the opportunity to lead since I was young, starting during group work in middle and high school, and I have continued to develop and use my skills at University as well. My ability to take feedback from my peers in order to make everyone happier sets me apart.That said, I will be taking coursework which covers important leadership principals, how to best understand interpersonal interactions.
