I worked as full time Commercial Assistant in Trade section at The Trade Council (TC) at the Royal Consulate General of Denmark in Istanbul, Turkey. TC is the commercial part of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Denmark and its main focus is to promote Danish export. Task:-Providing consultancy about international business and business development for Danish companies-Assisting trade managers by data collection and reporting-Conducting market investigations and industry & competitor analysis within the Energy and Environment sector-Conducting partner and supplier searches-Handling customer queries-Event management; Planning and coordinating matchmaking events, company and school visits, planning of international visits and export promotion events in Denmark and Turkey.-Planning and coordinating official diplomatic visits such as Ambassador and Minister visits-Exposure of the Trade Council in magazines, web pages and fairs/exhibitions towards Danish companies-Structured and organized the Consulate General’s new website with a new layout and optimized processes.-Responsible for establishing a knowledge sharing platfor for the South Eastern Europe regional cooperation, which is focusing on the commercial cooperation in relation to knowledge sharing across the South Eastern commercial sections consisting of Bulgaria, Greece, Israel, Romania and Turkey.
