Test Engineering Technician
CurrentAeromotion is a subsidiary of Textron Aviation that produces products for the Aerospace Industry. I work in system testing and maintenance for the engineering and production department. Using Ni software such as Lab View to control the hydraulic systems and test functionality. I designed and built environmental testing chambers that would allow us to perform quality and qualifying tests from -70F to 200F on the products we produced. While at Aeromotion I also designed and built a number of fixtures that are used today in both the Monroe and Michigan facilities. I also helped form the safety committee at the Aeromotion facility in Monroe, WA where I was responsible for the training and certification of employees in Fall Protection, Man Lifts, LN2 Filling Procedures, and others. I also produced programs to train other technicians how to setup and use the testing systems to help ensure employees could safely operate the system and ensure uniformity in test results.
