I have been a software quality assurance intern in an agile software development environment. During this phase, it is essential to understand the basics of the agile model and the software development life cycle. I was tasked to provide my updates in our daily scrum and to provide input for improvements. Test cases were also made in order to automate scripts for testing. I have also contributed to the team by informing the developers of bugs found while performing manual and automated testing.I have also gained extensive experience in back-end application support. This position requires mastery of the linux command line. In this company, I was able to join a boot camp specializing in DevOps. We were able to be given hands on experience to pipelines involved in CI/CD. I also gained knowledge on how Jenkins is used as an orchestrator. I obtained knowledge on how various AWS tools are used. I automated bash shell scripts to avoid tedious day-to-day procedures. I also collaborated with application developers in making solutions to problems encountered by clients. While on the project, I provided incident management by being an on-call support in response to component shutdowns. This involves the use of a monitoring tool such as Nagios.
