STLI was established in 1993 to support development of the country of Kyrgyzstan following the break-up of the Soviet Union. Over the 10 years that I worked in Kyrgyzstan with STLI, I filled a number of roles including project manager, community development section head and program manager within the health and community development programs.

At Rockwell I was project leader of a project to develop an aircraft patrol simulator for the Australian Defence and Technology Organisation (DSTO) in preparation for the purchase of Airborne Early-warning aircraft by the Royal Australia Air Force.

During my time at CSA I worked on the development of software for the Combat System of the Royal Australian Navy Collins class submarines. This was a large fixed price project involving between 80 and 100 software engineers. My area of involvement was in Target Management, Target Motion Analysis and interfaces to sensing devices. I had particular involvement in requirements analysis.

I developed project management and testing procedures for use with structured projects carried out by Thorn-EMI at the base. I was the System Designer and Project Leader for a functional simulator of electronic warfare equipment on R.A.N. frigates (H.M.A.S Sydney, Adelaide, Canberra and Darwin). My involvement was from the initial concept to project completion. I was responsible for the design, budget and schedule and coordinated a team of engineers and technicians during the project.
