Directly responsible for inspection of five aircraft at McMurdo Station, AntarcticaDirectly and solely responsible for returning Antarctica aircraft to service.Directly responsible for delivery of safety, quality, efficiency, and customer service.Directly responsible for McMurdo aircraft, parts, tooling, and personnel logistics.Directly responsible for on-site management of NSF/DOI contract at McMurdo Station,Antarctica.Integrate technology to plan and coordinate technically complex remote projects.Responsible for safety management of McMurdo Station operations.Responsible for coordination and supervision of staff in remote, high pressure, and highconsequence situations exercising good decision making to maintain optimal safety andoperational standards.Develops and monitor KPIs to track program performance and evaluate existing procedures.Subject matter expert regarding polar and utility maintenance operations.Conducts internal briefings and training on various subject matter as required.Assures compliance with OAS/DOI contract, federal regulations, and corporate standards.Tracked aircraft usage, forecast and schedule maintenance for multiple turbine helicopters.Year over year increase in aircraft reliability and availability including 100% availability duringdeep field deployment.Periodically conduct internal audits to determine continued compliance with corporate andcustomer contract requirements.Interfaced with three government entities (OAS/DOI, FAA, NSF) and corporate management tofacilitate problem solving and maintain operational efficiency.
