With 15 years of experience in academia and industry, currently I work at the Manufacturing Technology centre (OAS) as an Engineering Trainer ( Fluid Power , Pneumatics and hydraulics), PLC . I formerly was a research student and associate lecturer at Oxford Brookes University. I did research on CFD analysis of Vertical Axis Wind Turbine. I do Part time lecturing at London South Bank University in Physics and at New College ,Swindon in Finite element analysis as part time I formerly worked as Assistant Professor in the Department of Mechanical Engineering at, BishopJerome Institute (BJI), India. As a part of the thesis ,I worked in the Indian Institute of Science (IISc.) in the Centre for Cryogenic Technology spearheaded by Prof. Kasturirangan and Dr. Mathew Skaria. My work basically was to conduct the CFD analysis of a Thermo acoustic Refrigerator using Fluent software. I have a Journal paper on "CFD Analysis on the Influence of Resonance Tube Length on The Performance of the Heat Driven Standing Wave Themoacoustic Refrigerator" and a conference paper on "Electro Osmotic Flow of Non-Newtonian Fluid in Porous Membrane Subjected to D.C Electric Field" .I have been teaching subjects like Fluid Power, Building services and HVAC, Heat and Mass Transfer, Thermodynamics, Refrigeration and Air Conditioning , Industrial Refrigeration ,Cryogenic Engineering to graduate students for more than four years . I have also been the Faculty in charge for the following labs Fluid Mechanics, Hydraulic Machines Lab, Computational Fluid Dynamics Lab, Refrigeration and air Conditioning Lab .
