I'm a Software Developer who has worked in compilers, banking applications, finance-oriented microservices and back-end applications. In the past, I have also made a small game in Unreal Engine 4 and a prototype C to C++ function "translator" to broaden my view on the general compilation process. I am most familiar with C/C++ along with Java and the .NET platform. I also am comfortable with envisioning and solving abstract concepts/problems in my head without writing them down.Another interest I have lately is broadening my knowledge on the DevOps side of the world. While every software developer writes code and commits them, I think there is a whole vast of skills required in the modern development world in order for us to iron out a smooth building, testing and release process for software. This challenge can dramatically increase in complexity the more we use a variety of technologies and attempt to iron out a smooth CI/CD process. To me, this is utterly fascinating and a field I am very invested in.I think finding out the reason why software is written the way it is written is an important aspect to becoming a better developer. It is simply ingenious when you think about how we have built our modern computing space and knowledge up from literally nothing over the past century!
Listed skills include C++, Unreal Engine 4, Java, Game Development, and 5 others.
