About Jon Eddy

Remember that shaggy-haired musician dude in your high school who was always trying to get you to come see his band play at the local venue? Yeah, that was me. I probably would have talked you into coming, and you may have actually enjoyed singing along to our sped-up cover of “Beverly Hills” by Weezer. Most of the time that guy doesn’t do anything of significance with his music. I was one of the lucky few who actually got to hop in a van with 6 sweaty guys and tour the country, playing music for thousands of people all across the nation in venues, arenas, festivals, and radio stations.Most people don’t think about the “business” side of the music business, but even sloppy rock bands are LLC’s. They don’t succeed without top-notch sales & marketing techniques. There were times early on in those band days where if we didn’t sell enough merchandise at a particular concert, we wouldn’t have enough gas money to get to the next show. It was those formative years in high school, college, and post-college where I learned the importance of connecting with people, building a client base (fans), networking, and digital / social media marketing. It was then that I discovered the success that can come your way if you are creative, reliable, and willing to work a little harder than everyone else around you.Fast forward to present-day, and I’ve traded in my bass for a briefcase (I actually played guitar, just couldn’t pass up that alliteration opportunity). I have been a strong & steady performer everywhere I’ve worked, and quickly gained more responsibilities because of my production, reliability, and propensity for helping others around me succeed. Instead of using my creativity for writing music, I now apply it to the business world and constantly seek new ways to improve business practices, increase performance & efficiency, generate referrals, and keep both my customers & my coworkers as happy as possible.When I’m off the clock, I still love to play and record music in my home recording studio. I also am active in playing sports, hiking, swimming, and traveling around the world. As of this writing I’ve been to 36 states & 10 countries… Next up: The Alps in Switzerland!
