As an R&D and Innovation Manager at TAV Technologies, my role encompasses a diverse range of responsibilities, including:- Coordinating international and national R&D project funding submissions.- Managing both R&D and funding projects with a focus on efficient project execution.- Spearheading innovation management initiatives, including the development and oversight of weekly training and intrapreneurship programs.- Providing guidance and coaching to the team, particularly in the domains of new technologies, niche technical problem-solving, optimization, AI, and federated learning.- Evaluating and testing AI and optimization outputs while creating structured test case definitions.- Overseeing Turkiye R&D Center Program management activities.- Cultivating business development partnerships with startups to foster growth and collaboration.- Engaging in research activities and conducting proof-of-concept experiments using various open-source tools.- Taking on the roles of product manager, business analyst, and UI developer for R&D-intensive products.- Conducting research into new international business concepts driven by business authorities or research organizations.- Keeping the company informed about emerging technologies and industry trends.- Contributing to academic and industry knowledge through paper and patent submissions, conference participation, and mentoring university students.- Providing guidance and mentorship to university students on small-scale projects, facilitating their professional growth.In summary, my multifaceted role involves strategic leadership in research, innovation, project management, business development, and education, all aimed at driving R&D and technological advancement within TAV Technologies.
