For the first 6 years at this location I managed the entire facility, I was entirely responsible for all aspects of the Technology department. All hardware, infrastructure and software management, implementation and support; as well as general PM services. Managed and maintained the corporate phone system, as well as the cell phone systems and contracts. Monitored and maintained multiple "home grown" applications as well as a number of "specialty" hardware items. I upgraded the entire network hardware, software, and infrastructure to a completely new network due to severely antiquated equipment and substandard installation, setup, and configuration.I corrected a number of serious issues, to include server instability, server being used would "crash" up to 5 times per day. I discovered it was due to software incompatibilities. This discovery and correction resulted in a 25% increase in all associated applications speed, as well as up-times of near 98% yearly.Upgraded data infrastructure to include switching and media throughout, this resulted in a more that 30% increase in productivity and more reliability from distributed systems and applications. Due to the modernization of the overall infrastructure more relevant and modern applications were able to be brought in resulting in increased productivity, higher overall job satisfaction for users, and more streamlined workflow.The last year at this position corporate restructuring was taking-place and things changed rapidly.
