I have facilitated experiential workshops in leadership and in the fascinating area of influencing and negotiation, as an integral part of Navgati, since 2002 and I don't get particularly tired of running these (as long as I don't work too hard). The workshop, now in its 19th year, is called Winfluence and I blog about the subject at www.winfluence-in-action.blogspot.com. A significant part of my work until a while ago was in empowering people think through and write out business plans. I was born cynical and this helps in my job!A passion for rivers and wildlife, in particular, led to setting up the River Otter Conservancy, a volunteer-led initiative to implement conservation strategies along rivers and streams to protect otters and otter habitat. We have launched - in 2022 - the Brahmagiris Rewilding project, which is an exciting initiative to restore the habitat of a sacred mountain range. I do write a fair bit (www.gopakumar-rootcause.blogspot.com is a general blog on Life) and have written two books of short stories from everyday life, the first being 'Walk Through' and the second titled '14 Stories And One Rogue" (no, I was not referring to myself).
