Piyush Dixit is an Executive Coach with over thirty years of experience in the IT industry. He has a deep understanding of diverse cultures, having lived and worked in India, Europe, Canada and the USA. He has travelled extensively, especially on work to Japan, China, Singapore and Australia. He leverages his technical and cross-cultural experience in addition to his natural people skills for coaching.After his Bachelor’s degree in Electronics from IIT Kanpur in 1981, Piyush spent the first ten years of his career as a technology consultant at S.W.I.F.T. in the Netherlands and the US. During this period, he obtained his Master’s degree in Computer Science at the University of Maryland. He then relocated to Bangalore and joined the India office of Motorola, where he grew through the ranks from a technical lead in 1993 to a General Manager in 2003. While at Motorola, he did his MBA from IIM Bangalore. After leaving Motorola, Piyush worked in engineering leadership positions in the India centers of several global technology majors until the end of 2012.Piyush has been a de facto coach/mentor to his team members and colleagues in every company he worked for. To pursue his passion for reaching out to people, he became a volunteer at Vishwas (a Bangalore based Non-Governmental Organization) in August 2002. After intense experiential training in client-centered therapy he was inducted as a Vishwas member. While working for Vishwas, he provided personal/life coaching and counseling to anybody who walked in. As chairperson for Vishwas July 2009-11, he spearheaded "Mitra", an initiative ‘by students for students’ in IIM Bangalore, coaching students to manage the stress of an intensely competitive environment which often led to self-esteem and relationship issues.Pursuing his passion for enabling people to discover/realize their innate potential, Piyush co-founded "Tanmaatra" in 2013
