CurrentExpert in Self Optimization Network (SON) Algorithms in LTE. My work involves analytical modeling of network performance. My research interest involves understanding, modeling, predicting and optimizing network performance within the context of geometry and correlating performance counters withing this fabric. This area is a rich confluence of data analytics, data mining, physics of RF, geometry of network design and stochastic aspects of traffic. This approach leads to much faster answers to complex network performance and optimization questions in comparison to the traditional and conventional simulations approach. Analytic modeling is more of an art and calls for deep mathematical insights in areas ranging from computational geometry, stochastic systems, queuing theory and stability of nonlinear dynamical systems. I hold over 10 patents (pending and approved) in the area of SON and another 15+ patents in a variety of areas including network optimization, ultra high reliable networks, fault detection and prediction, network design and optimization, flow control and scheduling. My experience in massively parallel algorithms help me in designing distributed optimization algorithms that use Performance Counters. I am an avid math puzzle solver and coach students towards high-end math competitions during my spare time. Many of my math students have won top places in national and international math competitions. I am forever a student and love the process of learning.
