• Regional Manager for the Company’s KwaZulu Natal (KZN): Northern Region. Responsible for civil engineering services and building works on various infrastructure projects in the KZN northern region, including multiple school’s sanitation programs and new and refurbish builds. • Duties included resource planning, monitoring of work progress, quality management, concept designs, checking final designs, documentation, supervision, contract administration and project management and monthly invoicing for the region. • I also managed and facilitated the successful setup and opening of a new regional office.• Project lead, design, contract documentation, supervision, and project and construction management for various roads and civil engineering services projects, nationwide. I represented the Engineer, as the Resident Engineer on-site, on a low-cost (Government Subsidy) housing development, on the KZN South Coast. Main responsibilities include:• I was accountable and responsible for all civil infrastructure (roads, stormwater, and water reticulation), • Platform construction• Preparation of the monthly payment certificates for the Contractor • The house construction• Training up of monitors for the house construction• The monitoring of sanitation unit installations.
