Cluster Improvement And Integration Lead (Ciil)
CurrentIn this senior role I lead on a collaborative and integrated systems approach to raising attainment, tackling the poverty related attainment gap and supporting inclusion across a number of establishments spanning early years, primary, secondary and ASN sectors. I play a key role in supporting the cluster chair and Head Teachers, providing information, data, support and advice on specific areas of need, alongside an equitable allocation process in identifying and coordinating additional and intensive support for children within the GIRFEC pathway. This is achieved through effective integrated working across social work, health, third sector, police and other agencies and services within the local area. Reporting to an Education and Families Manager, I line manage a small group of Cluster Support Teachers (CSTs) and provide support for improvement including literacy and numeracy attainment. I am a member of various working parties within the council and a VSE Champion, supporting internal quality assurance for continuous improvement and preparation support for HMiE inspections.As part of a wider council remit, I lead on tracking and monitoring, quality assurance, data and process for the Empowering Cluster model within the council.
