CurrentGordon is an experienced international arbitrator, and has been appointed as Emergency, Sole, and Panel Arbitrator on major infrastructure, oil and gas, commodity, and commercial arbitrations in value of up to US$150m.Gordon also has substantial experience as counsel in complex international arbitrations with claim values up to US$2.2billion, having conducted arbitrations in London, Hong Kong, Singapore, Tokyo, Kuala Lumpur, Bangkok, and Jakarta under institutional rules ICC, SIAC, TAI, Bani, KLRCA, and ad-hoc arbitrations (eg UNCITRAL). He has also conducted a major investor state dispute against an Asian state under the auspices of ICSID.He is an accomplished commercial disputes lawyer, with an emphasis on construction and engineering law.Gordon is a Fellow and Chartered Arbitrator of the CIArb, and a Fellow of the SIArb, and Member of the Teaching Faculty at the CIArb. He is also an arbitrator on the SIAC, LCIA, NZDRC, KLRAC, ICC (Australia) and the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators Panels of Arbitrators. He is also Fellow of the Institution of Engineers, Australia, and an Australian Chartered Professional Engineer (1989-2012).
