Internship with online advertising company for Diversified Metals to produce an animated intro movie for their website showing molten metal being poured into a 3D company logo revealing the different types of vehicles that the company's metal is used to produce for the Army, Navy, Air Force, and NASA. I storyboarded, modeled, textured, lit,rendered, and composited in 3ds max and built numerous particle systems in Particle Illusions and 3ds max. I built the entire inside of a metal foundry; Cobra helicopter, F-22 raptor, M1-Abrams Tank, Jimmy Carter Class Submarine , Diversified Metals logo, and the space shuttle and launch towers. I used around 40 particle systems in a single shot. I budgeted 250 hours for the project over 5 weeks and finished in a little over 3 weeks and 205 hrs. but it wound up not being used for the final site.
