Maintained existing web site and developed a new web site on a new server. The job required aspects of both design and development. Working in an ASP environment I automated and eased the management of content on the college site. As information changed each semester, the content owners can now make updates directly when those changes occur. It was necessary to interface with department and program leaders across the college to train and gather information for page updates not yet automated. The job involved the use of tools such as Dreamweaver, Photoshop, ImageReady, Illustrator, InDesign, RapidPHP, Visual Studio 2005, Flash, PowerPoint, Word, and Acrobat, using technologies such as HTML, XHTML, CSS, SQL Server, JavaScript, PHP, and ASP. It was necessary to design for full accessibility according to section 508. It was necessary to establish and maintain effective working relationships with administrators, faculty, staff, students and the public.
