Junior Rating Analyst
CurrentWorking as a Junior Rating Analyst in Infomerics Valuation and Rating Pvt. Ltd. since September 2023 in the Corporate Segment. As part of the Ratings group, responsible for preparing credit analysis reports by comprehensively understanding and evaluating industry risk, business risk, default risk and financial risk profile.1. Preparation of credit analysis report and then presenting the credit report to the rating committee and arriving at the credit rating by evaluating credit strengths, weaknesses and risk control measures.2. Recommend ratings, based on detailed analysis and comparison of performance with its competitors in the industry.3. Preparation of public documents such as Minutes of Rating Committee, Rating Rationale, Rating Letter, Communicating the rating to the client.4. Monitoring the rated client portfolio by regular interactions with the management, auditors, lenders/bankers and other stakeholders along with tracking sector developments to understand the business models, projections, strategies.5. Maintaining client relationships throughout the rating cycle and assisting in business development by ensuring high client retention percentage. 6. Benchmarked the financials of companies against their peers to analyses their relative performance over a period of time.7. Monitored the portfolio of clients, identified early warning signals and executing timely corrective action.8. Building organizational capabilities in analyzing entities across sectors. Ensuring a more insightful and higher quality analysis in these sectors and enabling better rating decisions while improving process efficiency.
