Built a standalone testing kit using a software defined radio and Raspberry Pi that transmits OFDM signal to check the EMC standards of DUTs Self-taught Linux OS and Firmware programming techniques related to wireless communication protocols were deployed to accomplish the project. Created a “How to use” document for user’s ease. Worked in-alignment with objective with the help of spectrum analyser and RF relevant tools. Through effective mentor-mentee communication, achieved all development specifications for the prototype device. Major outcome; better understanding of OFDM, hands on experience with spectrum analyser and improved knowledge in hardware-software co-design.

Deployed documentation and analysing skills to update product website and specifications utilising electrical and automation background. Organised product information with respective software and downloadable files by foreseeing customer’s requirements and ease. Collaborated with supervisor to maintain and follow respective procedures and standards of products. Major outcome; improved documentation skills, understood importance of sensors and other automation related product’s use in real time and web page editing.
