Recruited by a former colleague, I joined honeybee, a retail technology business established and backed by Dixons Carphone plc, Europe's leading specialist electrical and telecommunications retailer and services company.I established and led a marketing function which initially incorporated product marketing, customer experience, UI and UX, and partnership development. In May 2017, I was given additional responsibilities for Brand and PR. I joined British Gas to support the re-structure of a newly acquired waste management company, JKe. Within six months my team and I turned the company from loss making to break-even. For my second assignment, I created a number of successful partnerships with leading water companies including Thames Water and Severn Trent Water which allowed British Gas to sell to a larger base.
