Developing the database and Business Objects universe for the new outsourced mortgage system. Creating pseudo-code for the new database ETL and mapping fields from the new system to source. Also, supporting the project by providing sign off on requirements documentation and advising on system lookups and data gap analysis.

Maintained and updated the Commercial MI Databases, whilst providing key management reporting to the Sales, Marketing and Finance departments. Used Insight to create and schedule reports based on the source data within the company’s Enterprise Resource Planning system (JDE).

Validates the integrity of Management Information to agreed timescales to support business decision making and regulatory reporting requirements. Resolves business reporting and Business Objects universe issues and maintains the security model and licensing for over four hundred users.Key Achievements: • The key application expert for the upgrade of Business Objects to version XI, developed the new security model and worked directly with the project and test managers.• Delivered a new Business Objects licensing process using VBA to efficiently reconcile back to the Business Objects database.• Integrated SAS processes into the Leek MI team using Base SAS knowledge to test, modify and run the code.• Managed the Business Objects audit universe data to provide ad hoc reporting and representation of universe usage.

Performed business process and root cause analysis then presented areas for improvement to senior management.Key Achievements:• Created innovative systems and workflows documentation and presented to senior executives• Reviewed controls for the Loss Provisions process, creating RACI Matrices and working directly with the Sarbanes-Oxley specialist. • Influenced the choice of business process mapping and analysis software as the user steering committee spokesperson.

Provided process support documented to the IDEF0 modelling standards and delivered process improvement projects using the Six Sigma DMAIC methodology. Key Achievements:• Improved banking process efficiency by reducing lead times and interest lost saving over £130,000 over the course of a year.• Created a bespoke system to manage cash balancing and forecasting for Britannia’s network of 80 ATM machines, saving one FTE and £30,000 each year.• Implemented validation into Business Expense claims, improving the process and reducing defects by over 80%.
