2013-2015 Consultant to improve fit, technical design and patternmaking. Set up a group of fit models from 34B to 44G to establish a high end fit for the brands Affinitas, Parfait, and private label. Directed a team of patternmakers to improve fit for bras, panties, and babydolls. Reviewed construction and made improvements to sewing to align with high end U.S. and European markets.2015 - Present - Director- Growing and training the department to meet the growth of each brand along with establishing a quality control process for technical design, the factory, and the DC. Establishing a weartest process to improve the fit and comfort of a fashionable products. Working with major customers to assure the brands meet their standards and to develop new product.

Designed new full figure bras for brand including sourcing new items, patternmaking, fitting, grading, spec development, and quality manuals. Worked with the factory to develop a sample room and process for future development along with improving their quality procedures.

Supervised design and engineering. Worked with sales to merchandise, design and develop a new business, Mia for Amoena, a very full figured woman intimate’s line plus detected product voids and presented designs for the Amoena mastectomy line. Responsibilities included design, engineering, fabrication, costing, color, fit, review of quality of product, working with factory to improve quality, and training designers on the fit of the product.

Started Soma for Chico’s. Built business from the ground up with merchandising, design, procedure and quality control for product development and final product. Presented product concepts to Chico’s board for initial store openings. Grew business to over 75 stores in 3 years. Responsibilities included shopping market, development of fabrics and product, setting up procedure and supervising technical design team, hiring and training of personnel, developing and integrating the intimate PDM into the Chico’s system, establishing a global factory base, sending out development tech packs, fitting and commenting of product to factories with CAD and Photoshop communication, working with factories on textiles, color, components, new product and products with production issues. Set and maintained the gold standard for fit, reviewed catalog photos, quality control of product, developed and worked within a calendar to meet critical deadlines.

Senior Engineer for Murfreesboro Cutting from Sept. 1993 to Sept. 1995. Previous to that Product Development Engineer for new styles produced in the U.S. from June 1999 to Sept. 1993.
