I am currently in the Commonwealth Bank Anti-Money Laundering and Counter Terrorism Financing (AML/CTF) Operations team. We are responsible for prevention, detection, investigation and escalation of AML and CTF risks across the Group. We secure the Group, its people and customers against threats and disruptions. We perform transaction monitoring to identify AML/CTF activity when requested by Law Enforcement Agencies and Financial Regulators

I assist with managing and reducing the risk of exposure to merchants that accept cards for payments. I educate and train merchants to reduce fraud and chargebacks and handle investigation requirements of the card schemes.

I would assist the front line with a structured approach to account opening processes and escalation approval within ASB Retail Operations and Risk division. In this role I heavily supported the front line in high risk situations like high risk customer on-boarding so that the reputation of the bank is maintained.I would ensure accurate completion of processes and policies that are in place to identify, manage and mitigate risk, to ensure regulatory, legal and internal policy requirements are complied with.
