Homes Of Hope (Mexico) VolunteerYouth With A Mission 2012 - PresentI have built ten houses through Homes of Hope (Youth With A Mission) over the years. The three-room house is constructed atop a 20ft x 20ft concrete pad and takes less than 48 hours to complete. I usually work on the framing and roofing teams. We build the walls on the ground, then raise them up, add trusses, roofing plywood, then shingles. It is one of my favorite things to do each year, and I have learned so many trade skills in the process.
